every little bit helps

SCIL has a 26+ year history of service and advocacy for persons with disabilities. Faced with budget cuts and reduced work schedules over the past several years, the staff continues to provide quality services and supports to consumers in need.

Your donation will help SCIL to continue increasing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We hope that you believe SCIL’s mission is important and will support us with your donation. We look forward to our partnership as we support all persons with disabilities to control and direct their own lives as equal members of society. If you have any questions about SCIL’s mission, do not hesitate to contact Pete Roberts at 217-523-2587 v/tty or scil@scil.org

Donate your time by volunteering at SCIL. Volunteers assist SCIL by freeing staff to spend more time advocating for and assisting people with disabilities. This means a great deal to staff and to SCIL consumers. Some of the jobs that volunteers have been responsible for here at SCIL include receptionist work, managing the bulk mailing and preparing the bulk mail, filing, reading for those who are blind, and taping brochures for the blind.

If you are interested in volunteering contact Monteirra (TT) Alexander, Volunteer Coordinator, at 217-523-2587 ext 207
